After many years of dedicated service, our wonderful Linda Boag-Moores is preparing to retire from her role as Procyon Wildlife’s Volunteer Coordinator.
Linda has been with us since the very beginning, when Procyon was first established. Over the years, she has been an invaluable member of our team, helping to recruit, support, and schedule our animal care volunteers’ shifts. It is her dedication that has made our work possible. We are incredibly grateful for her commitment and the countless hours she has devoted to Procyon.
As Linda prepares to step down, we are reaching out to our volunteer community to see if anyone might be interested in taking on this rewarding role. We’re looking for someone to help support our amazing team of volunteers who care for our wildlife patients and make our work possible.
Your main role would be to monitor volunteer shift coverage, create monthly volunteer schedules, and maintain our online volunteer calendar using ShiftController. Anyone interested in the position should be comfortable working with online scheduling tools.
If you enjoy working with people, are organized, and would like to help Procyon succeed, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. Training and transition support will be provided, with Linda assisting during the handover before she steps down.
If you are interested in learning more, or would like to discuss the role, please contact debras@procyonwildlife.com or call 905-729-0033.
