As many of you know, summertime often brings vacations, family activities, and opportunities to enjoy the nice weather. As a result, we occasionally find ourselves short-staffed and send out requests for additional volunteer help.
If you receive one of these requests and are available to assist, please text or call Crystal (705-791-9856) or Sarah (416-998-3076) directly rather than replying by email. They receive calls and texts immediately, whereas emails may not be seen right away during a busy shift.
By contacting them directly, they can let you know whether help is still needed or if enough volunteers have already committed to coming in. This helps prevent situations where volunteers make a trip to the centre only to discover that the need has already been filled.
