Raccoon Formula Feeding Reminder

By Procyon Volunteer on June 10, 2026June 16, 2026

As raccoons transition into the toddler stage, some litters may not consistently consume their full formula allotment during scheduled feedings.

If a raccoon or litter is not taking the full amount offered, please leave a bowl of prepared formula in the enclosure for them to access between feedings. This allows them to self-feed as needed and supports their changing nutritional requirements during this developmental stage. Please ensure an adequate amount of formula is provided. The goal is to allow growing raccoons to meet their nutritional needs as their feeding patterns evolve.

If you have any concerns regarding appetite or intake, please notify a staff member promptly.
