As of March 1st, we will be moving into our full-time schedule. At this time, many of our shifts are not filling as needed, and there are currently some days without any volunteer coverage at all.
The only difference between our March and April schedules is that for March, morning shifts will begin at 8:00 a.m. This adjusted start time will remain in place only until babies begin arriving, at which point we will return to our regular 6:00 a.m. morning start time.
With baby season quickly approaching, it is essential that we strengthen our schedule now so we are fully prepared. We are hoping our experienced volunteers might consider taking on one additional shift for the next month, or working together to divide and conquer available days. By doing so, we can ensure proper coverage while also helping to train newer volunteers so they are confident and ready for the busy season ahead.
It truly takes a team effort, and your support during this transition would be greatly appreciated. If we all work together now, we’ll be in a much stronger position when intake increases.
