Fawn Formula Feeding Guidelines

By Procyon Volunteer on June 7, 2026June 16, 2026

All volunteers are reminded that fawn (deer) formula and feeding amounts must be prepared and administered according to established protocols. Volunteers are not to adjust the quantity of formula provided per feeding unless specifically directed and approved by a Procyon Wildlife staff member.

Fawns have precise nutritional requirements that vary depending on age, weight, and medical status. Any changes to feeding volumes can have significant impacts on their health and development.

If you have concerns about intake, appetite, or feeding tolerance, please report them to a staff member so that appropriate adjustments can be assessed and made if necessary.
