Dear Procyon Volunteers,
As we gear up for baby season, expected to start around April 1st, we are welcoming a wave of new volunteers to the Procyon team. Training for these new recruits begins tonight at the center, followed by another wave of volunteers in two weeks.
To ensure they are well-prepared for the busy season ahead, we need our experienced volunteers to step up as training leads. This means allowing new volunteers to shadow you during your shift so they can learn the ropes—everything from protocols to where supplies are located. Ideally, by the time baby season is in full swing, they will be more confident and ready to contribute effectively.
If you are available to assist with training, either on your regular shift or by taking an extra shift to help out, please email Linda as soon as possible. Your support will be invaluable in making this transition smoother and ensuring we have the coverage we need during our busiest time of year.
Thank you for being such a vital part of the Procyon team—we couldn’t do this without you!

Executive Director/Custodian
